30 in upcoming april.

I´m 43 and turning 44 next month ( 11 Feb )
I remember when i started playing Quake 10 years ago, it was facinating and i could´nt sleep for a couple of nights
bacause i was totally stucked in SP It was a a wonderful fantasiworld and a revolution in graphic, sounds etc etc.
Me and my long time fellow Tommy was playing lan with the ingame ipx protocol a couple of weeks, than the first qw-server came
out and we change to a stand alone server Rest is history
Anyway, one of my first lan experience was at this very residential district. Mr griffin himself and his clanmate ( i guess) glimmer had an invitation ( from somone i don´t remember)and they both showed up. griffin spanked us all but it was SOOO fun. lots of CA was played back than.

I'm turning 36 every year on my birthday ever since i turned 32.
It became a habit. Or tradition. Probably both.

Played DOOM (ah the days of loading those 25 floppy disks), Heretic, DukeNukem3D over modem to modem with a buddy of mine. Started playing Quake online when the Internet came to town and it was all over!!!

Approaching 3x but 26 at the moment. But I did play doom when it came out (was a pro at typing cheat codes...)

Unfortunately, missed the first 4 years of quake anyway

43 and turning 44 in November 2010. Next time at Garf's LAN I will ask NBI-Finn and NBI-Garf how old they are. One of them might hold the record as the oldest QW player still alive
