I visited quakeone.com today and found this topic (http://quakeone.com/news/site-news/5095-grunt-vault.html) called The Grunt Vault. Briefly, The Grunt Vault's objective is to, each week describe a NQ player, his strengths, weakness, overall characteristics and the like. I thought it would be nice if we have something similar for QW players and clans. What do you think?

People still playing netQuake ?

Almost twice as shocking as people still playing quakeworld!

There are actually a lot of those NQ'ers visiting these forums, also some of their coders have contributed to qw recently.

They have some interesting projects going on atm, like a multi-mod server, I think their community is more based on casual gaming, and playing fun game modes. Where ours is pretty much based on the competitive side of things

Sorry for going off-topic, the player review sounds cool, if someone is up for it, they can get news writer permissions for the frontpage.

If someone is up for it, make a long-term plan and update within a decent interval to keep things interesting and also prevent it from dying after 2-3 reviews

Tss, i'm sure you aren't. Give it a try! We can't have enough people contributing to the scene in any way possible.

But that doesn't mean that people shouldn't voice their ideas, maybe someone else picks them up later

Yes, I am, I can't even bunny . Besides, I believe someone who has experience playing with the players in the review can write something more useful and less superficial, and that's not my case. What I could do thou would be some sort of interview, talk to players, gather information and then write an article. Anyway, I won't have time to do this for the next two or three months.

Just to clarify, I'm not claiming this project anyhow. If someone feels like doing it, please be my guest.
