Razer Exactmat is nice, but it's only slightly bigger than your func I think

Just get the func archetype. Same surface just a little larger.

I use Steelseries 4HD with deathadder, and the overall feeling is just perfect. It slides really well, but its not "slippery", youre always in control. So far the best combo for me.

do you use original skates xenic?

I'm using the SS 4HD as well and have to agree with xenic. I am however considering getting some skates, because the worst part of the otherwise great DA is that the feet seem to wear out quickly and are not large enough. I would not recommend Func Archetype with DA, because it eats at feet a lot more than for example 4HD. Destructor is in-between the two in roughness and a very good mousepad overall, although not as nice as 4HD. Oh, and just had to add that func rough and especially the archetype cos it looks so nice are easy to like if you haven't tried the newer generation hard plastic mats like the aforementioned. There was a time that I also touted archetype as a very good pad

Razer goliathus is a amazing mat. I use the speed edtion but their is also a Control one to. they come in small , medium and large It is pretty good for a cloth mat I think it works better for mice with bigger feet though (not DA), but if cloth / soft is your thing, G is one of the best I've had.

Well i use the G on my mamba which is alot like the deathadder except wirless and have to say it rocks. Speed edition i feel is good for movement in quake I have no idea the differnce between Mantiss and G but i do know that the mantis is a huge mousemat

I have to second the comments about Archetype, at least some of them
first off, it's the best mousepad I've had since I started with gaming, but I've pretty much always stayed with func, used to have the 1030 as well.
However I use the slippery side as the rough side feels really weird, and even the slippery side eats the skates pretty bad. FORTUNATELY, the skates on the logitech g5 that I use are pretty good so it doesn't damage the mouse, but every now and then I have to clean the pad only because of the remains of the skates.
No idea how the Archetype works with DA though

Yeah i use its original skates, theyre like made for this particular pad. But niomic does have a point, they seem to wear out really fast. But if i may suggest, Steelseries Xai and 4HD/9HD is a great combo aswell, if you havent fucked your xai's skates with worn out pad like i did

Those of you worried about wearing your skates on hard surfaces should think about applying strips of teflon tape on them. This is what I have been doing. The tape doesn't wear off and I don't have any 'remains' on my pad. And if the tape does wear off, it is a lot easier to replace it with another cheap strip of teflon tape than to replace the skates outright. Plus, putting tape over it keeps your mouse skates in good stock condition. I am using a Func Archetype as well.
