I dont get why ppl are against having fallbunny ON! thats the way QW was originaly, why do u complain. the "broken ankle" (?) is just something that came with ktpro right?

1) not standard qw behaviour 2) buggy code (you can obviously keep jumping with a hacked client or with some alias?) 3) slows the game down
not a question of on or off, just a question of when it gets turned on!

I totally agree on the third point, it slows quakeworld down! I mean, now that cmt3 is in the game in eql, if fallbunny is off, speccing those games will be boring as hell. of course on other maps as well but I just want to make ppl think about that, cmt is a very tall map and requires fallbunny on to make it exciting. Example: you get quad, enemy gets pent. You run to RA, take it and pent-dude is coming from quad, you have to jump down and continue bunnyhopping, but nooo! fallbunny is off and you are as dead as a cheese. In other 4on4-maps like dm2 the only area where fallbunny is needed is when jumping down from floeating to big but there you can use the wall. Hope I got some people convinced to vote for ON

empezar, you can keep on bunnying even with fallbunny off, that's correct... tho you lose about 100 speed, and there is no alias nor hacked client needed, it's just a bit more difficult. Difficult is good.

Original physics? heh, so remove jumpfix plz. Fallbunny was enabled in original qw2.30, yes, BUT NOONE used it, cos ppl don't know anything about bunnyhopping. Now you trying to simplify qw. CMT3? Come on. You can simple use some stairs, hills, columns and so on for not falling and keep jumping. You just need some SKILL. Same for dm2 and so on. RA area? If you fall, pented guy is fall to. If you bunnyhopped, he can do it aswell. what a reason? Try to use quaded SG while falling . Its help a lot. QW is fast enough, you just need some skill for be fast. I'm angry when i can't kill Sassa (who used to fallbunny on) on pent area on dm3. He trying to get mega and i can't run down him with sg, cos its too easy to get mega with fallbunny.

And about hacked clients and aliases. AFAIK, this can be fixed in server. (pm_jump code from zquake). And fallbunny will be OFF independently hacked clients.

Download KTeams 2.21 and run it on ZQuake/ezQuake (ZQ and ezQ have same pm (player move) code) server... If you use ZQ/ezQ server - fallbunny always _ON_ (after fall you can jump). ZQ/ezQ server dont let KTeams mess with physics. "fallbunny off" sucks also because: bind mwheeldown "+jump;wait;-jump" when you falling just scroll you mouse wheel down and you'll jump. kill me now and burn my soul

In KTeams you can turn it on (it always off), while in KTPro you can. kill me now and burn my soul

If you use ZQ/ezQ server - fallbunny always _ON_ (after fall you can jump). ZQ/ezQ server dont let KTeams mess with physics. We just need the same thing added to MVDSV now.

Also fallbunny is not a standard pm-behavior, until ezquake added this as a prediction you were always vibrating the hell out of your pants when this falltrigger kicked in, it simply does not belong in qw. ---Where can you see lions? Only in kenya! Come to kenya we've got lions.

Default should be ON, and make an option in ktx to preserve speed when going through teleporters

played with fallbunny on a bit today in some dm2s!
Think its totally cheat and will fight against it as hard as I can.
it makes you run very easy and takes the QW spirit away.. why not then change bunnyjumps to the way PK has it, that u don't even need to strafe!!!

Only place I can think of to use fallbunny on dm2 is jumping from high to low. Did you all stand there guarding when this guy comes with 100 speed more than usual and you miss all your shots at him, thinking "my god how could this happen, CHEATZ!"? Would you tell a difference if he first jumped on the big wall ledge and then towards low (so he doesn't get a broken ankle)? ---Where can you see lions? Only in kenya! Come to kenya we've got lions.

lmao plast anguas post is also a little weird, when having like 700 ups on like dm6, fallbunny off will take away WAY more than 100ups man you'll drop to like 200 at least
