I havent played QW for a while (read 2 years), but thought that I might be able to host another season of Mixed 2on2

Last season did not unfortunately finish, but was left in a very interesting spot.
Dont really remember what was the reason it got stopped, but might had something to do with one ppl going for a long trip to US.

good luck! but i think you should use that new tournament-site that offers you way easier report-functions and so on to make sure that the tour can be finished!

I would love to use one, but I dont have any skills on websites nor do I have a host for a website.
Thats why the tourney.cc was a good site for the previous season and will be used for the next one too.
If someone wants to help me out with the website (with phptourney I assume?) so that everyone could enjoy screenshots and maybe demos too, I would really appreciate it.

Yep, powerups on for each map.
This tourney is more of just 4 fun as the teams are made by lottery also for each round.

Guess we'll see people make good use of that DM4 panic room when powerups are turned on

Modified? Can't you just make people sign up with Player1-Player2 as team name? ("player" name) Or is there something else that differs?

I dont have any skills concerning tourney.php, but there has to be an option to change the players in each and currently there is only option to host 1on1 tourney.

Zalon said he already modified it to host 2on2 tourney for the qhlan tickets so he will modify it a bit more.

Nice initiative, lucky. Good to have you back, if even just for hosting a tourney.

The last season was great fun, specially ring on dm6 2on2 (why the fuck is that off by default in 'standard' play?) gives the map a fresh, new and better feel imo. I feel different about the quad on DM4, but that is generally because I think lg + quad in QW 2on2 is too overwhelming. Gonna make DM4 as chaotic as aerowalk / ztndm3, but sure, gonna add a new dimension to that map as well.
