I`ve started to play again after 4 years of silence, and realized that the spawning system is even worse. Or at least on FFA servers, where I play mainly.
Back in the old days there was a Kombat Team release, which made it possible to toggle through 3 spawning types: Normal QW, KT safe, and a 3rd one (don`t remember the name).

Were there any serious modifications regarding the spawning system?

We played 4 dm3s with mix team vs sauna last night on foppa and I got 4 exactly same spawns to ra-tunnel with telefrag. And this is not the only time it has happened.... its quite a usual when ppl doesnt change on server you will get same spawns. So there must be some kind of bug in code and it sucks

So guys, if I summerize the comments there is something going wrong with the spawn system, right?

Could you be more specific? FFA servers use Normal QW Spawns, KT* servers use some of the KT spawn modes and it's shown during the count down. What exactly does not work the way you would expect?
