Hey I haven't been whining for a long time, admit it. Except about my horrible neighbors perhaps. Instead, I simply started to 'wait for armors' a bit more often. Even with a crappy mouse, it seems to work ![](/images/smileys/emoticon_smile.png)

Oh and I don't have a camera, only a webcam so I could only take pics of my desk. Too boring.

When I was a kid, yes, about 100 years ago, I could play for hours with buttons. Sorting them on size and/or colour. Searching for really SPECIAL ones, feeling them, admiring them. ![](/images/smileys/emoticon_smile.png) Good memories to buttons.

So cut out the letters, give it a nice colour and put a little light behind it, hammer it above your desk and voila: your own personal quake lamp.

*respawn* My pizzacutters, I have two, because if you have only one, it is always lost when you need it. With two you are safe.

Oh Fragles..... what cool that you post too ![](/images/smileys/emoticon_grin.png) Thank you! And what a great view you have! That crazy glass building peeking out of everything and the weird frame on the left. With the cutiepie houses all in between. ![](/images/smileys/emoticon_smile.png) 3 norwegian quakers last night we had on FFA !!!!!!! Celebrate ![](/images/smileys/emoticon_smile.png)

![](/images/smileys/emoticon_smile.png) The thing on the left is our neighbour's balcony - the glass thing is the Hanse church undergoing renovation, with plastic coating on the scaffolding looking like glass in the moist weather I just tried playing Quake on my nasty old 640X480 projector. (it says, 'Replace the lamp' every time I turn it on, and it's done that for two years. Still works) Made me seasick. Very seasick. Sorry about the wobbly images. Tried to take a pic in the dark too, but it looks all green. Didn't look like that to me. Lousy camera.

Oh. Not quake-related. Off-topic. Right, right, sorry! This is something I see first thing every day. A bookshelf and a cupboard. It's a mess, I know. I spot the first record what I got from my father when I was four or five, a picture my sister gave me years and years ago, some books I've finished reading for now, movies, tools, materials, arrows, etc

My pin cushion, made it a year ago or so. I do some bespoke tailoring, and this is a very handy thing to have indeed. I love the coloured pins, I got them from my girlfriend at the time

Got a new hand-powered turning wheel today. Actually it's a cheeseboard, but it does the job very well - it's got ball bearings and everything. It's faster than the steel ones we use at work! And much cheaper.
