Hey guys I know nquake comes with the aimbots whatever bots they are, however I just installed quake and loaded up ezquake... I dont have the bot addon in order to make it work..

Haha Actually "aimbot" is a cheat that helps you aim. What you probably (hopefully) want is just "bot", that is, a computer opponent. Try this one:

Extract into your-quake-dir\fbca

Then use Multiplayer -> create menu to start a bot game. This one's called "frogbot".

yep thats what i mean want to hone in my 1on1 skills vs bots and work on timming..

Yes, just get nquake since it's already set-up for bot play (and maps, graphics, etc.).

I donno, but in my nquake installed all I do is type "bot_1on1" after I start nquake, and then type "addbot" and whala there's a bot.

You can also change skill (before adding a bot, use "removebot" or "removeallbots" for that) by typing "skill=" (no space before equal-sign) and then "impulse 10" where 10 is the skill from 0 to 20. Then use addbot it will confirm what skill the bot is. For beginners use 5 or lower. 10 is hard. 20 is hard with aimbots and wallhacks (You can see me play with live commentary vs some skill 20 bots - as well as vs humans - here)
