Hello friends i'm trying to 'conver' .mvd demo .avi via build-in ezquake feature, using such cfg

// demos to avi
demo_capture_codec "xvid"
demo_capture_dir "capture"
demo_capture_fps "25"
demo_capture_mp3 "0"
bind n "demo_capture start 30 name.avi"
bind m "demo_capture stop"

Yes it's recodring fine, but extremely slow ezquake motion while converting mdv's.
So, it's not comforable to switch POV's, observer views etc and takes a lot of time to record.

I suppose this issue is because of my hardware, i got
2 Mhz Athlon, 2gb DDR 800 and some build-in software video with kinda 'shared' ram.

So, can you point me how i can increase 'recording speed'? Is it software or hardware issue? Any advices?
I heard about FRAPS, will try to test it, but it's kinda costy for me now to buy.

Tnx
