The chat icons has been missing since I upgraded to 2.1 alpha a long time ago.
This screen is from 2.1 beta, and the issue seems to be something config related. Help anyone?

Ok, found the problem. It's affected by GL_MAX_SIZE. I've submitted this bug to the tracker.

I can't reproduce it.. GL_MAX_SIZE doesn't affect the images on my setup atleast? :E

Completely unrelated and minor note, and don't think it's worthy of a separate thread. simpleitems won't work in the mac build - am I missing files or is this a bug?

No, I don't use gl_textureless or changed gl_picmip or gl_texturemode2d.
Do gl_max_size 1 and vid_restart. It should render the chaticons flat like the walls.
