It would be great if someone could make some tips/how-to's (DEMOS) for certain race maps. For example I have some problems considering racing lines and rhytming.
Or is it supposed to be *secret* that how you actually finish a map? :<
EDIT: How the *expletive* do you clear the first jump in race6? :E
EDIT2: In race7, when you miss the first platter, you get teleported to the slimepool. Is it the same thing that Dimman pointed out in race6?

Just bind a key to "kill" while you are in warmup mode! EDIT: How the *expletive* do you clear the first jump in race6? :E Hard to explain, there are two ways to do it. But mainly its all about using the side ramps to get some extra lifting up.

please keep first post updated, with information if the maps are out of beta or not. i recommend thumbernailing those screenshots =)

Currently all maps are out of beta, apart from Race 8, which is a placeholder at the moment for the real Race 8 map. Race 8 is already finished but will be released at the same time with new KTX mod. So bump deurk to get his work going

I dont see a reason, not to release my last race map now. All files and links are updated to the latest releases: Race 8Too sad that deurk seams to find less time to finish his work on the race mod Personally I would start a tourney myself if I would know how to. There are so many tasks to be answered. ► 1.How do we protect participant from cheating? ► 2.Who can make a decent tourney website? ► 3.Where do we host the tourney? 1. At the moment I only see one option in running an official race server containing the official routes. No other servers would be allowed. 2. Someone else has to do this! 3. I can offer webspace, subdomain (xxx.qwscene.net), FTP access and mysql database

Anni: give teleporters!!! It's so annoying falling off etc and having to type /kill looks great apart from that

Type "race" and get instand killed? And whats so hard to bind a key to kill?

well I rather learn the map and how to jump it for real before I start racing but maybe that's just me xD true binding a killbutton works but I just hate not having teleporters, not sure why feels so "incomplete"
