yes i know all that. i know that its a weird ratio but i like the widescreen effect. it also gives me the feeling of better rl-aim

my screen res is 1024x768 btw

conres 512x384 gives me a bit of claustrophobic feeling everything also looks like its stretched vertically, but that'll be because im already used to this 'widescreen' setting.

the rocket trail is just a modified particlefont, the textures IIRC are from the retexture project ;D

I'm with murdoc on this one. I don't understand the fullbrights for healthboxes either, weapons i suppose i could understand but even then...why when you can see the normal models easily?

You and Murdoc must to know that these skins for models isn't fullbright. They r just bright
Bright skins for weapons usefull with dmm1. And ppl use bright skins for healthboxes and ammoboxes only cos they r like it.

i made this brightskin myself. the boots and shoulder pads show player color, so that i can still tell people apart
