Is that similar to the Brazilian's auto-reporting MM2 when you take an item/powerup?

I prefer the default style mostly. Sometimes I even use gl_no24bit 1, but these shots are with some eyecandy EDIT: Ok, ok! So I am quite new to this and when I saw en_karl's hud I realized the big iammo/ammo in the bottom bar is never used. Also, I always had a preference for the old status bar so I decided to give it another go. Below is the result.

Why do you all prefer all caps font?

I like the looks of povo5, but I can't get used to it. Makes it really hard for me to read... Original charset is still the best, because it has the oldschool quake feeling

You don't have fullbright skins murdoc? .over.and.out.ten.four.roger.that.affirmative.

I just use 24bit skins. They actually look a bit like a real player while full fullbright skins are cheats!

Nice, murdoc! Also, I don't use force skins.

why does my quake makes my enemymodel skins this flat? when i turn down my console and looks at them it shows their curves. How do i make my models this "curvy" as you see on the picture.

That's because you have r_fullbrightskins 1. Set it to 0.8 or something lower if you want to see ambient light affect the shading, and thus make them look less flat, without losing the fullbright effect.

i tried r_fullbright, but didn't think of the 0. digits, thanks alot.

I used to have the same problem as you Phrenic but I just made the grey parts of the white skin darker. This way I guess it is still fullbright in all situations but doesn't look so flat. Try these out and see if they look OK for you and your quake? white2.png (primevil's edited white skin with colored face) white3.png (primevil's edited white skin with alternative colored face)
