If I type cmd+tab and choose another application, I can use the mouse pointer in fodquake. I have set the mission control in one corner, so I could navigate to another space. That's how I can minimize qw.
I am not really good at these things, but for me it seems, that OSX windowmaker (or whatever called in OSX) handles the mouse in the client, and it feels weird for me.
cfg_load did the job, I could use my config.

Empezar: we don't add any artificial latency to the mouse input. The USB input is directly fed to the game. Is it unusually high for you? Or is it that maybe vsync is currently turned on? Or maybe you compare to a 500 hz USB configuration?

I'm getting 'couldn't load gfx.wad' even though I have an application support/fodquake/id1 folder with pak0 and pak1 in it. I tried it in the Macintosh HD library and in my user library.

The latest versions have changed this behavior slightly. Data locations have been split in two different ones. The application support folder is now there for custom textures, configs and demos on a per user basis. The required data files are being looked for in the bundle itself. This is done because there are plans that fodquake in the future comes with custom crafted pak files that won't require you to copy any id data files at all.
In the meantime please copy the two pak files into the bundle. Right click on the app and select "show package contents". The id1 older with the paks should go into "Contents/Resources/data".

It looks like my pak0 was corrupted. My mouse isn't working, tho.

Can you give more details on your system an setup? In the end the mouse should be connected to the USB bus. They usually are. Even the wireless ones. Or is this some bluetooth magic?

FodQuake != EZQuake
This crash is related to something else and not to any mouse issues.

I know that, you asked for more details about my system and that crash report contains them.

If the mouse is not working I can only think of some proprietary razor preference pane that hides the mouse from the rest of the system. Not sure though because I can't test it myself.
Maybe something went wrong with focusing the app. Try to clicks and see if the mouse gets correctly captured. Can't say anything else now..
