Recently I have, I don't know if I could say "caught" here but, recently I have been seeing people with chat icons above their head but can still move around. This strikes me as odd. It appears to happen at will, It's not like the chat icon comes up and stays the whole time... It's like its been toggled as if they were typing, BUT THEY'RE STILL MOVING?

Should one be suspicious of this or is this a glitch or a sign of something else happening? Anyone witnessed this or know anything about these goings onss?

If you push and hold a movement key, like +forward or +left, and hit the console or messagemode keys, you will still move around. Just keep the movement key pressed, and you can type while steering with the mouse. This might be what you've seen?

I had the same thing once, my opponent had the chat icon stuck onto his head even tho he played.
/reconnect solved it, and never saw it again.

It's a bug I often see when I join a map while my opponent is typing "ready". Just ask them to toggle console on and off and it goes away.
