There is an English player, criminally overlooked by the national team, who during the 1990s was, IMO, arguably the most talented footballer in the UK. However, because he played for a 'small' club (Southampton), and won less than 10 caps for his country, many foreigners, especially younger ones, may not have heard of him. Well now you have. Here is a video that I would highly recommend if you are interested in football, in fact I have yet to see a more entertaining goals compilation from any player, and that includes Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, Bergkamp, Zidane, or anyone else: http://youtu.be/XAjgL0YIXUgEnjoy!

Also wondered wtf was up with all the penalties, but Wikipedia gave an explanation "Throughout his career, Le Tissier had a fearsome reputation for scoring from the spot, converting 47 of the 48 penalties that he took for Southampton.[12][13] His sole failure to convert came on 24 March 1993 in a match against Nottingham Forest, his spot kick being saved by Forest keeper Mark Crossley,[14] the feat being so unique that Crossley describes it as the save of which he is most proud.[15]" www.facebook.com/QuakeWorld
