Is it possible to change the colours of simple items?

I use the nQuake green skin for enemy which is the same colour as the GL and some health packs which makes it difficult to see. Is there any way I can change the GL to red (to match RL) and change the green health packs to a yellow or similar to the other health packs.

I am assuming they are just sprites?

I have just located them in ezquake\base.pk3\textures\models\ I will try modifying them tonight.... just curious if it will be allowed in /ruleset smackdown?

Usually, it will work... As long as it's not custom models/sounds I think.
