Today when i logged onto the
QuakeWorld Facebook page i noticed that Facebook started bugging me about the fact that the page is going to get the new "timeline" layout on the 30th of March whether i like or not. After reviewing the page a bit i pressed "publish now" (i.e. switch to timeline now instead of waiting for the 30th March) but then Facebook let me know that it's a very good idea to add one of those huge, nice looking cover pictures that shows up on the top of the page.
As i'm no artist myself, I thought i'd ask for help from all the talent that lurk in this forum in order to get a truly inspirational cover image for the QuakeWorld Facebook page.
Dimensions of the image (I Googled these so i'm not sure they're 100% correct, if you know better then let me know):Width: 850px
Height: 315px
Use your imagination when creating this cover photo/image. It can be an in-game image, a real life image with Quake theme or somehow a mixture of both.
I can merely offer you a sincere thank you for your effort and a mentioning on the page itself as trade for your efforts!

I want to use the classic one for the small "Profile picture" and something else for the bigger one. Was looking for QHLAN crowd photos which i think would be suitable, but didn't find any that felt 100%.

right, makes sense. don't know about spectator shots though, has there ever been an impressive enough crowd at qhlan? some in-game footage should work well i think.
