So, with the new forum I thought it might be more handy to start a new art farts topic since I find it a too big struggle to have to go through all the pages with the broken links (thanks weblog) and not be able to jump straight to the end. Something that we all do, doodling while on the phone. Here is my phone doodle of today.

Murdoc, this is the off-topic section. The place for this kind of thing? You don't have to read it if you don't want to.
Anyway, if you want to ask for features, here's the place http://qwnu.qw-dev.net/issues/

Thank you Abrax. Couldn't have said it better or nicer myself. Started fiddling with ink, so far we have a tree bit.

And now the tree bits are done. I think. Every time I move away from my desk and walk past by it a minute later I think aaaahhhh not done yet. Must do this, must do that... But for now, it's done. Maybe tomorrow I will see more bits that needs to be "fixed", and maybe not, so that I can move on and think of what further wll happen there.

You must be an animal/nature lover? I mean, those aspects are always part of your work... I can see how that can serve as an unlimited source of inspiration

Those trees looks like the birch trees of my childhood

Well mega, most of my animals and nature bits are still not really real or so. But yeh I like. And of course it's a bottomless inspiration pit, there's always something to see outside where the mind goes wonder and wander and twist it into something...... weird? nice? Abrax, lovely that it brings memories. Hopefully you not had that much weird creatures around there though!

Well, it was a swampy, dark little valley, a lot of them around here. Not a lot of weird creatures, but there was a lot of owls, foxes and eksters, and the occasional unidentified screech from the woods

Hoi zomb Impulse paintings are always good, love the colours. What did you use and how big is it and do you do that more often? Only painting or also drawing?

I mainly use Acrylic paint, but sometimes I do use water colours. I love to paint but unfortunately I am not so good at selfcritic, always think what I do suck. I can draw sometimes but not good at it, but for fun, like painting.

I'm making little 12x12 cm drawings for in square black frames, so maybe these stay black and white.

Little bushpigs The drawing is 12 x 12 cm and the frame somewhat 25 x 25 cm.

I've changed it. I missed the beard the more I looked at it, so now it's way more bushy. As a bushpig should be.

I drew her from an example from a magazine. I didnt had the time or space to draw her head properly so I found another way to get it done. I used charcoal. She is a lil fatter here than in real like tho. (Edited 2012-05-25, 19:26)
