Hey everybody,

I have a bit of a headache. I'm running ezQuake 2.1 through Steam. Everything runs fine except for the fact that my screen flickers black and white every once and a while, usually after a minute or so in game. I am on a laptop running Windows 7 64bit with a Nvidia GeForce GT 630m and have set my Nvidia profile (Nvidia Optimus) to use my card with ezQuake. I've tried multiple graphic settings (turning off dynamic light, bloom, etc) and have tried multiple launch commands to no avail. It's not absolutely game breaking but pretty annoying.

I'd really appreciate any fresh ideas with this screen flicker.

Have you tried running ezQuake outside of Steam? I know the Steam overlay for instance can cause issues in some games.

I've tried running ezquake without Steam and have also tried disabling community overlay. I am totally puzzled.

Are you sure it's Steam that's causing the problems? Does the problem disappear if you start ezQuake with the exe file directly?

Like I stated previously, it gives me a screen flicker with and without Steam.
