Unfortunately, the new qw.nu site won't be up for quite a while yet, but that doesn't mean that we have to put up with that dreary blue news page.

So, please come up with suggestions for how to spruce up the page a little, perhaps with fancy links to important sites like eQuake, EQL, NQR and Challenge-TV and the best one will be implemented.

I use EditPad Pro, it's unuiqe in the way it's coloring the code, and since Im a scriptkiddie in multilanguages and a real coder in php its nice to have the different coloring with each type of code

You may have noticed that earlier this afternoon, I accidentally uploaded the index.php for the new site (in development) over the index.php that displayed the news

Before it occurred to me that I could simply go and fetch the backed-up copy, I grabbed a simple design from oswd.org and set it up. It looks a bit nicer now, but we could do with a more qw-themed logo, so if someone could come up with one then that would be super

it's the osams-kittie
you can see it on gaz game-reports on eql or nqr

the kittie compensates for the huge lens flares, so nobody thinks the logo was meant to be stylish 'n stuff
it's good. even better to see a real qw.nu frontpage back online! gg

edit: ok not the final frontpage yet, but at least it's better than the previous one.

It's exactly the same as the blue one except for the design. The Real Site is still being worked on (doing some of it as I write, in fact )
