There is a guide HEREBut long story short Download Trinca's src379 from HERECopy the mapname.qc file into /maps folder Use genlist.bat in the /maps folder Use fteqccgui.exe in the /src379 folder - Go to OPTIONS and tick all options - Press USE After a moment you will have a qwprogs.dat file in the folder above /src379 that you can use instead of your QWPROGS.dat in your frogbot folder EDIT: Maybe take a backup of your current QWPROGS.dat ProjectQ1Q3, Frogbot Waypoint and Map Conversion Tutorial @ http://mickkn.mooo.com

Ok that's fine so far, but I have nquake and do not find the frogbot qwprogs.dat.

FBCA.zipPut these files in a /fbca folder in your nquake root dir and do: /gamedir fbca /exec server and go from there Dunno how nQuake works ProjectQ1Q3, Frogbot Waypoint and Map Conversion Tutorial @ http://mickkn.mooo.com

All maps are on qw.lanvegas.net:28501 , even the betas, I try to upload them as soon as Mick releases a .bsp.

ospdm5 finished with waypoints and all really nice map for newbies to play some 4on4 lots of ammo Quad ledge has been lowered a little, so it's now possible to make an easier ramp jump. I have been following you work Mick, impressive! really great job, keep it up! On the first post, I think its useful to display the servers that have these maps. Also no need to keep 2 separate lists: you could put the download link in the first one edit: all maps are on feijoada.no-ip.org servers you could also keep an up-to-date zip with all the .bsp only (for the server admins). never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

The Famous Rocket Arena map "ThunderStruck" for 1on1 and 2on2 is finally here to QW do some testing, and i'll release a final version soon. Tested the thunderstruck map... looks like as if I was playing Quake3 Rocket Arena Great conversion I forgot to tell you that on the overkill map, besides the jumppad on that bridge.. there is some invisible walls Can you be more specific about the invisible walls? Maybe shitty feedback but:
Since you have all this experience building all of these complex maps you should have the skills to create something brand new for quakeworld? I converted a map for quakeworld from painkiller and after just that one map i decided I would never do it again. Because after doing it I feel like I accomplished very little. There is no expression of ones self in just building something that someone else made for me. Brand new maps excite me more than things that have already been around. Usually the maps that do get converted (not saying yours) feel like shit anyway since quakeworlds jump pads feel terrible and don't work like they do in other engines. Also the scale issue like you've probably already noted (cure) is a problem in quakeworld and makes the map feel terrible to play on. To sum it up: Make your own ORIGINAL map and you'll most likely be more excited about it and you'll also PLEASE ME =]

@Fenris - You made Reckless ? love that map. Was it a complete rebuild from scratch or some conversion? I have a blast playing Frogbots on the Q3 maps I've converted. Because I suck so much (got 3 frags in the current Duelmania) so it's pretty much for my own sake, and a bit for Claw's and the idea of getting QL players to try QW and fall in love with it. You are right that making my own maps gives a better feeling than converting other peoples work. And I guess I'll be doing that after this project (if it will ever finish).
