If you haven't read carapace's Covering Quakeworld post, there's a project to get all the EQL finals up on darff's YouTube channel with commentary, for experienced, retired, and new players alike to enjoy.

Here's the master list of which EQL Finals are available & which are in production etc, which I will be updating as and when the videos are uploaded:

EQL1: complete (fs-fOm, darff-cara new commentary)
EQL2: complete with xerial commentary (fs-la) + semis (fs-la final, la-lo/tvs-fs semis)
EQL3: not played (sr-la) - but have the semi without commentary (f0m-la) & one group game with commentary - tvs-sr
EQL4: complete (sr-koff, darff-cara new commentary)
EQL5: complete (dag-sr, darff-cara new commentary) + semi cmf-sr semi
EQL6: new commentary... needs re-recording (tvs-fs)
EQL7: not played (sr-sega, tvs-3b semi finals - summer league)

As usual, extreme activity has been shown to be very temporary and dependant upon people's circumstances. Not sure the extra match me and cara recorded has an audience who are waiting, or whether we should continue recording commentary tracks...

You do have an audience and you most definitely should continue ^^

Can you edit together and upload to Youtube the alternate versions where Gaz/Hangtime/Para or others were commenting them live as well? I do appreciate the effort you guys have done and hope you won't quit contributing anytime soon.

We won´t rerecord commentary for any game that already has an above par commentary track.

It's obvious that your contributions are of great value and should continue until you can/want. Because they HAVE an audience, and with the proliferation of tablets and mobile broadband, everyone can watch elite e-sports everywhere. Plus it's a great way to show the game to others.
