This morning, Sebastian died from a deadly bacteria called meningococcal disease (Swedish: Meningokockinfektion). Beeing the top notch healthy and happy person as he was, he started feeling bad at work 3 days ago, so he went home to cure. He became worse, quickly. Yesterday, thursday 15, his mother was called over to visit him, and realised this was something more than a standard flu. Ambulance drove him to the emergency ward, where he was put in respirator after his heart had stopped. He also suffered severe internal bleeding. He was unconscious, but kept on fighting for the rest of the night. Eventually his body gave up, 28 years old.

You left us with a great void and grief, but we will always remember you for the happy and wonderful person you were.

Sajko had the rare ability of always being happy and was constantly spreading it around. His energy was always bubbling and you could feel it very potently both on teamspeak and in real life. Losing sajko is a terrible, heartbreaking thing. But we have to remind ourselves to celebrate the rich and meaningful life he lived rather than mourn what we have lost. Even though it´s near impossible.

I will miss him alot - and the world is undoubtable a worse place without him.

May you rest in eternal peace, sajko. May all the people you loved and knew be better people for knowing you, and learn from how you lived yours.

RIP Sajko

This is terrible news. My thoughts go out to all the SD guys and everyone who was close with him.

Meningococcal is a fucking horrible thing. In highschool the guy i sat next to in Maths got the same thing and we were told to expect the worst and not expect him back. He missed something like 3 months of school. It was quite frightening and it is just freak bad luck to get it.
