why the last qhlan?

Lornelin told us this winter that he does not want to be the admin for any more lans, and since he is the last one from qh and the old qhcrew, it won't be called QHlan anymore
we will try to make lans happen but they will simply not be called QHlan

I'd far prefer to be in the sunshine of Sydney (and Melbourne) than in a hot room full of QW nerds

i have been talking thit pangela + peppe and we want to make a lan called qwwc(plus we own the rights of using quakeworld i have been talking thit idsoftware . and bring the elit to sweden. problerbly thit some sponsors and that meens price money. and we want more good ppl who can work whit us.

QWWC = Quakeworld World Championships, an existing tournament.

But still, the name QWWC is already taken by something else. It would make as much sense to call it the NQR LAN or EQL LAN.
