I have installed ezQuake to play with some old friends, I installed also some mods like ctf and arena, now I have 1 question about fortress I have a zip file named TF2.8 is this the last version of it? Why do almost all servers of fortress say MegaTF instead of TF2.8? Is there any difference between these 2? Regards.

Download the server version. During install, check the Team Fortress addon checkbox. Then start the server.

It's available both for Linux and Windows. The Windows version being the most user friendly.

I also recommend downloading the nQuake client.
