I have just sold my apartment in Amsterdam so my QW time in Europe will be coming to an end by around August. Thanks for the games it was fun.
I was really hoping for a QHLAN whilst I was here but it never happened. Can someone run a LAN or something soon? I'd love to get to one before I go.

Maybe someone could look up the possibility of hosting something on one of the gaming cafes in stockholm? The main problem i see is whether one would be allowed to install nQuake and use one's own peripherals.
Maybe someone on here knows the answer to this already? :} www.facebook.com/QuakeWorld

I was privileged to meet a few qw players in my time here... Dopeskillz, Pericles, Wimp & Kip... I also saw someone that looks exactly like bps in a live sex show at a time when bps was coincidentally in Amsterdam (but he denies it).
Before i go I'll be dropping in on mushi and i am doing a road trip to Denmark and Sweden in august so i hope to meet some more peeps then

If you're going to Denmark, I would love to meet the aussie The plan is to drive from Amsterdam to Stockholm and back with a few nights each each stop: Amsterdam > Hamburg > Copenhagen > Stockholm > Copenhagen > Hamburg > Amsterdam' If we aren't sick of driving by the time we get to Stockholm we may even go home via Oslo. I'll let you know the dates closer to August.

You should go to norway. It's not that far once you've driven that much and it's something to see before going back to your god forsaken country I oncemade the whole Rennes-Amsterdam-Hamburg-Copenhagen-Stockholm-Trondheim-Oslo-Göteborg and back by car and it was a really cool experience !

If you would've been one day earlier in Jönköping there is quite a bit of that at the "Monday Club" in the concert house "Spira" by the lake. :} www.facebook.com/QuakeWorld

I suggest Casa de Rikoll when you're in Oslo, for beers and laughs. Plus it's free of charge staying there. If that sounds interesting I need to double check that the host is actually at home the mentioned dates.

That would be awesome Rikoll but I don't think that the host realises that there is a group of very badly behaved Australians and not just 1 that will be coming to Oslo. I couldn't do that to you! We will, however, definitely catch up for a beer though!

Looks like it's weekend and all as well, so we should definately hook up for a beer or twelve.
