Another thing I unfortunately overlooked was the QTV delay in conjunction to listening to the players' mm3. Not exactly sure how to solve this, except for being a spectator on the actual server, but that takes away a load of features that are very nice to have on the stream like item clocks, see-through water and health bars. Anyone has any idea how this could be optimized?
Just get in touch with the server admin and set the QTV delay to 0 or 1 second during the game. Sure it makes it possible to ghost, but that's not gonna happen in a game like that. There's simply no time + ppl can hear your voice coms

I enjoyed the stream, but I'm not a fan of the ezquake default simple items. They don't match the hud and contaminate quakeworld with quake 3 content. If you want go to qw.gfx, download dithes hud, and extract the simple items into your qw/textures/models/ and qw/textures/bmodels/ folders.

There are others who feel like you do. In previous streams, I did not use simple items, but I decided to go with simple items to help new viewers understand. Everyone has seen the simple items as they are universal for quake, therefore people have an easier time to understand what's going on if they are not familiar with QuakeWorld.
I'll take a look at dithe's simple items though, see if they look better somehow.
