i just beat the final boss on episode 1 so i try going to the episode 2 portal but all it gave me was a message saying "cant find map/e2m2.bsp" please someone help (if any one is still here)

This is a QuakeWorld forum, meaning it concerns mainly multiplayer and questions about single player are better answered at quakeone.com. But anyways you can start with checking /Quake/id1/ dir and seeing if you have both pak0.pak and pak1.pak present.

You need to buy the game to have the file pak1.pak
