Ive put some effort in and rewritten my little twitch.tv notification application.

It's now written in htms/css/javascript and supports win, osx, linux (see electron documentation for distro support)
At can also open a stream in livestreamer, using your livestreamer config.
Ive tested it on win7/win10, osx el capitain, ubuntu 15.04 and im pretty happy with the result and decided to let those who might find the application useful check out the beta.

Download installers here

Heres a screenshot.

Let me know if theres anything i can improve.

That looks like a sweet update. I love the livestreamer support
Thumbs up will try when I get back home.

Any plans of making this Opensource? I would happily contribute to this kind of project.

KAPOW o/

Thanks for the awesome prog dude. Made my netbooklife much much easier -_-
I try to avoid web-browser whenever it's possible. For that case I'm trying to find a way to trigger not only the livestream when clicking on the play-button of your programm, but also that it joins the connected irc-channel. I'd set up hexchat to auth, but I dunno how it's possible to connect your programm with hexchat(like) progs.
Anyone has a suggestion where to start to figure it out?

Have a great weekend o/

Glad you like it

Signing in with twitch.tv and having the option to just join the chat directly via twitchwatch (or when opening in livestreamer) is something ive been planning to implement.
But havent had the time to continue developnig twitchwatch due to other projects and work/family.

Twitch.tv made some changes in their api, now forcing requests to use a Client-Id in the headers.
Essentially stopping twitchwatch from recieving any data.
Ive updated the source, and will rebuild installers for all supported platforms as soon as i can.
