I need some people to do some testing.... are there any servers in the Netherlands that perform as good as the nl.besmella.com servers?

I am going to decommission nl.besmella.com very soon and I need to make sure there are other servers at the same location that can pick up the slack.

The reason for this is that I am still paying for this server, yet I don't use it, and I am looking to expand the Australia/NZ/USA region servers instead...

nl2.besmella.com and nl3.besmella.com are up and running for now.
i'de say don't worry about it.

nl is a cheap location, just say in what provider you are hosting them for future reference.

There is a few other NL servers but they don't have all of the maps. Not sure what their performance is either:

Oh damn. I use the nl.besmella.com qwfwd a lot for foppa.. sure there are others but not as good :|

Can you test the other 2 qwfwd's in NL and see how they perform?

Well I can get ~35ms direct or with nl3.besmella. But your proxy gave me ~28ms :| (to foppa that is)

What about nl2.besmella.com?

Not great. ~22ms to nl2. I get ~17 to nl.besmella and nl3.

The nl.besmella.com servers are hosted at Digital Ocean's Amsterdam #2 data center if you wish to replace it. It can be done for only $5/month. You have about 1 week to replace it.

I have set up new server in the same data center... will sort out domain name, get added to qtv etc.

Nice meag.. and the routing is identical via traceroute. Yet the ping is higher.. grr. uk proxy helps with that though so all's good. Cheers!

Give me the IP address and I will point nl.besmella.com and qtv.besmella.com to it....

Cool, it's nl.badplace.eu, or 146.185.156.122. I've already added the qtv to atrophy's site tho, so maybe just repoint nl and leave qtv? Existing qtv.besmella.com looks at a couple of other servers too, should I add those?

Just a basic nquakesv install at the moment (with binaries updated from github & teamoverlay disabled by default), if there's anything else that needs done, let me know.
