i got a friend who who is forced to play only over VPN. i like to show him QW, but it am concerned about ping issues.
will it be playable as good as with direct connection?
Do you need a special type of VPN where lag is considered?

I think youd need a VPN that specializes in UDP is all right because qw traffic is UDP? I think most VPNs are just standard TCP. I'm no guru on the subject though.

Your routing will probably be worse with a VPN, hence worse ping, but it should be stable.
