Group B England Paraguay Trinidad and Tobago Sweden
I believe
#1 England #2 Sweden #3 Para #4 Trin
Why? Massive support from england will take the classic game vs sweden, a game they have not won in 50 (?) years now! We will hear God save the queen through out the whole competition I believe... England are strong with the top scorer Cruch (yeah he will score 4+)

England's squad is strong and will crush the others in the poule, Sweden is lucky to have drawn vs such weak oponnents and will score an average of 3 goals a game. Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago will be of no interest. Custom maps for the show, episodes for the pro.

England will draw with Sweden, because we always do, and will beat the others comfortably. It could be decided on goal difference.

coming second might be preferable as we get to knock Germany out in the next round then

u will win it... and we will get raped by germany just like my dream, standing there in germany and get all sad and the germans singing "Schweden aushwiderzen" to me as I sang it to them in 98

1. Sweden 2. England 3. Paraguay 4. Trinidad and Tobago
Real tough to predict this one. Sweden will go thru as 1st on goaldifference after a tie with England. But I believe Paraguay will be a threat as well, Swedens current shape doesnt really assume we would win this group but anything can happen in the WC.

i think u guys put too much hope on England, dont think they will get that far even with some good players like Beckham and a so unstable Micheal Owen, which plays one good game and 10 bad ones... its been a while since i saw a sweden game, but they manage to get pretty consistent teams over times... i would love to see paraguay advancing for the 2nd round, ill put up a risky bet here
#1 England or Sweden (not both !!) #2 Paraguay (gogo Roque Santacruz !!!! \o/)

England's squad is strong, like really strong and beckham and Owen aren't the pillars this year. Gerrard, Ferdinand, Terry and Lampard will wtfpwn. Custom maps for the show, episodes for the pro.

Yeah Flepser, this is our best squad for a long long time. We have a backbone of world class players in Robinson (few better keepers around IMO), Terry, Ferdinand, Gerrard, Joe Cole, Lampard and then little Mickey Owen up front to knock the goals in. Throw in Beckham, Ashley Cole, and the beanpole Peter Crouch and you have a group of players that can beat anyone. Whether we can do it is another matter of course

and you have a group of players that can beat anyone. Whether we can do it is another matter of course Dida, Cafu, Juan, Lucio, Roberto Carlos, Zé Roberto, Emerson, Kaká, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Ronaldo. Anyone gaz? jk England has a very strong team indeed. The game against Brasil at the last WC was unbelivable, and they can do much better this year.

Brazil has a great attacking side but won't be too great at the back, and as a result any other team with a good attack will have a chance. Notice that I said that England CAN beat anyone, not WILL

tbh, we'll blatantly get argentina in the latter stages and someone will stamp on rooney's foot, then it'll go to penalties and we'll go out after hargreaves sends one out of the stadium
cue lynch mobs back @ home

1. Sweden. Why not? On paper England's squad looks better, but Sweden have better TEAMPLAY. They have good chances in front of any team in the world. And btw, England never beat Sweden Let's forget about poor form of Ibra, he just need to score few vs TAT to get his confidence back. Sweden (SWE) 1:0 (0:0) England (ENG) Friendly 2004 GOTHENBURG SWEDEN - 31.03.2004 England (ENG) 1:1 (1:0) Sweden (SWE) 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan (TM) SAITAMA JAPAN - 02.06.2002 England (ENG) 1:1 (1:1) Sweden (SWE) Friendly 2001 MANCHESTER ENGLAND - 10.11.2001 England (ENG) 0:0 Sweden (SWE) UEFA EURO 2000 Prel. Comp. LONDON ENGLAND - 05.06.1999 Sweden (SWE) 2:1 (2:1) England (ENG) UEFA EURO 2000 Prel. Comp. SOLNA SWEDEN - 05.09.1998 England (ENG) 3:3 (1:2) Sweden (SWE) UMBRO Cup 1995 LEEDS ENGLAND - 08.06.1995 Sweden (SWE) 2:1 (0:1) England (ENG) UEFA EURO 1992 SOLNA SWEDEN - 17.06.1992 Sweden (SWE) 0:0 England (ENG) FIFA WC 1990 Prel. Comp. UEFA SOLNA SWEDEN - 06.09.1989 England (ENG) 0:0 Sweden (SWE) FIFA WC 1990 Prel. Comp. UEFA LONDON ENGLAND - 19.10.1988 Sweden (SWE) 1:0 (0:0) England (ENG) Friendly 1986 SOLNA SWEDEN - 10.09.1986 2. England. I'll be waiting surprise from most overrated WC team vs Paraguay (funny draw). Beckham said that they feel confident to beat Brazil, well let's see how they can deal with Paraguay. 3. Paraguay. Tought South American team with annoying and boring gameplay. 4. Trinidad and Tobago. Fresh meat for Swe/Eng, Crouch will eat them on breakfast (hattrick).

I fail to see how any of the matches listed above will have a bearing on the game in this competition, particularly those from prior to 2004. Both sides are pretty different...

after first game post: eng 1 x 0 par - score by gamarra at 5´(OG)
so strong team that depends on owngoals ??? and paraguay owned the whole second half... england did its first shot on second half at 72´ !!! too bad that paraguay dont have any offensive skills or the result could really be diferent...
and what about that Crouch guy ?!!?? does he suck badly or what ?!
