got me a G5 and the bastard skips on quick movements.. im using a cheap blue clothpad (the material is thin, and isnt very tightly woven). It was worse on my friends almost identical (not quite, but similarly cheap hehe) green clothpad.. another mate has a G5 and a much darker coloured pad, so ill ask him.. otherwise, anyone here experienced this, or on the contrary can recommend a clothpad that wont skip (NO MATTER how quickly you move the mouse)? pls make sure youve gone sufficiently spastic with the mouse before posting ;P

Do you have the latest firmware?
There are lots of good pads, one good alternative is QPAD ("soft"
, it comes in different sizes and is quite affordable. It's very ugly though

Just make an upgrade for your mouse firmware

silly me!
went and bought a black clothpad, and it improved no end... then i got the firmware and this pretty much fixed it.
i say pretty much, because theres still issues when i move the mouse very quickly... the cursor seems to jump around vertically and i cannot keep a straight horizontal line. I can play qw now tho, so thats the main thing.
