Tournament admin
Beginner is starting off the QuakeWorld year by drafting up plans for a new QuakeWorld 2on2 tournament under the name Get2Gether. The suggestion is a skill based 2on2 tournament with a classic map pool consisting of DM2, DM4, DM6 Aerowalk and ZTNDM3. Read on for more detailed information from the tournament admins regarding the proposed tournament.
We aim to offer a good competition that boosts activity, proving grounds for the interested, as well as an opportunity to get together with old or new teammates.
Players from all levels of experience are welcome to join the gibfest, as it will hold 2 or 3 divisions depending on number of teams.

The call for a go to the tournament will depend on the number of signups, as well as some tournament specifics, such as the number of groups or teams per group.
Teams can have 3 members maximum, which is good if you cannot commit yourself 100% to every game.

With a first competitive phase based on groups where nobody is eliminated, only directed to a upper or lower bracket.
The second phase will be elimination style and will determine the winner, runner-up and third place finisher of the tournament.
Map pool is DM4, DM2, Aerowalk, ZTNDM3, DM6 (you may agree to play other maps too).
The tournament aims to provide players with some liberty to agree.
So it is accepted to choose freely between Maps to be played, BO3 or BO5 competitive system, map picking procedure, game duration, replacing a missing player, or handicap.
