Once again there will be Quakeworld tournament at the winter edition of Dreamhack this year, this time administrated by blze and hiw crew. Not much more information is revealed at the moment, but make sure to mark 26th to 29th of November in your calendars.
Yeah I remember talking to blaze about qw at DH Winter, as there was a lot of people talking about it falling short against QuakeLive.

More seriously, if there is anybody who is right now considering going... Forget about all the excuses and reasons you can come up with for staying home, because this is really something not worth missing. QHLAN is great (THE BEST!), and yeah you should go to that as well.
But DreamHack is different, you simply can't compare the two, at DH Summer, we had a serious tournament, a professional setting, and a great setup for the final and on top of that - we had a hell of a lot fun at the scandic bar/åke's place/swimming hall.
There wasn't as much quake being played as we see at QHLAN, but there was A LOT of talk about qw, and a lot of hanging out with fellow quakers. So go for the tourney, the social part, and just to experience dreamhack overall. HALLÅ!!
