Thunderdome 1on1 tournament

VVD has decided to host a 1on1 tournament, along with some admin help from

Phil,

Adde,

Darkstorm and

pleuraXeraphim. It will be quite similar to the well known Duelmania, Ownage and ShowDown tournaments ran in the past, apart from a division structure, aiming to set up equally skilled opponents vs eachother.

Thunderdome is open for all European QuakeWorld players. However, non-European players are free to sign up as long as they play their matches in Europe.

Haha, failed with country code for Ireland. Tried "ir" first, then "il", then back to "ir" again cause il was really fail

I seemed to have trouble signing up with "Rikoll". It kept telling me I was already registered. SOOOO I signed up as Killor instead.

Ye, there are already player with name Rikoll in one of the previous Phil's tournament. I can set your current password and other data to old user "Rikoll".

I signed up as mipa666, I had the same error as Rikoll. Now when I go to the site I'm logged in as mipa2. This is a bit confusing.

mipa, logout, and login as mipa666 again.
I had 3 accounts: mipa, mipa1 and mipa666. I merge all users in one: mipa666.

Actually this idea is all VVDs, and he is the main driving force behind this tournament. I'm offering support and hosting and what limited free time I have to help

(as well as to translate russian to english hehe)

I think it is a really cool idea, and I hope we have enough sign ups for the original 5 planned divisions
