TwitchWatch by Timotej!
While we wait for QuakeWorld.nu to get a stream list on site; try this excellent little thing created by Timotej!

TwitchWatch is an application for Windows that notifies you and lets you see who is streaming on Twitch.

Get it here, super lightweight and none intrusive!

After adding a twitch streamer link, by only using the profile name not the entire url,
TwitchWatch will check Twitch to see if they are online every 30 seconds.

You can enable voice notifications by ticking the "Online Voice" button under "Add stream".

It minimizes to the System Tray when closed and to quit, click quit, easy!

There are no planned future features yet - however feel free to contact Timotej, he's open to suggestions or pull requests on Github

Here is a list of current QuakeWorld streamers for you to get started: Just add the profiles, one by one, as written under here in the application and your good to go!

Getting some microsoft .NET error :-(

Maybe you dont have the targeted framework installed?

Since i havent created a installer "yet" that checks this scenario you might have to download and install it.

Try with https://www.microsoft.com/sv-se/download/details.aspx?id=42642

In time of crossplatform software for QuakeWorld you wrote it on .NET…
Why not web or java?…

Feature request: integrate it with livestreamer http://docs.livestreamer.io/.

Edit: The latest installer have .NET bundled, should fix the problems you guys had.

Sure is.

Thats not very specific.

In time of crossplatform software for QuakeWorld you wrote it on .NET…
Why not web or java?…

1: Im using windows, i initially wrote the application for my own use.
2: I actually like .NET, its a matter of taste i guess.

Ocoini was a bit quick to post all of this before i had a chance to test it properly on other windows version than my own, so i expected pretty much shit to blow up in some peoples faces

That being said, ive been thinking of full rewrite as a desktop webapplication (mhm crossplatform with limitations), it will take some time for me to develop and package by myself, and the supported versions of platforms will be limited.

Check out https://github.com/atom/electron/blob/master/docs/tutorial/supported-platforms.md
