LAN tournaments

QHLAN 2022 is confirmed, and we can't be happier! Here's some general info about the LAN.

Dates: Thursday 17 November - Sunday 20 November, 2022.
Place: Epic Studios in Stockholm, Sweden
Signup: www.qhlan.org
Seats: 120 seats, first come, first serve!
Entrance fee: 800 SEK (roughly $80), spectators 100 SEK at the door.
Tournaments: Quakeworld 1v1, 2v2 & 4v4. Info will follow.
Internet connection: 1Gbit shared.
Casters desk: Jehar & Andeh returns to QHLAN to provide a top notch production.
Monitors for rent: $30 to rent a monitor.
Computers for rent: $30 to rent a PC.
Sleeping: We will shield off a part of the venue for sleeping for those who want to sleep in the venue. There are also several hotels nearby, both cheap and pricy to fit whatever your needs are.
Food & Drink: The venue is outfitted with a lounge & cafeteria. There are super markets and restaurants alike right around the corner to suit your every need.
Contact: We're on the Quake.World Discord in the channel #qhlan.

good job on getting all this information right from the start.
I have a question though:
Are there showers at the venue?
Are spectators allowed? (paying no fee, but access to the venue?)
never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

There are 2 showers available at the venue.
Spectators will be allowed, 100 SEK (Swish only) at the door.

Tournaments!

With so many attending, i am (humbly) asking the tournament organizers to consider chopping it in 2:

Div 1
Div 2

Why all know why.

At least i think the 4on4 tournament should be like that. More fun for everyone. Of course if you want to play in Div1 no one should stop you.

With the possibility with 20+ teams i dont see why this is an issue. There should be more than enough voluntary manpower to organize this, no matter what format you choose
