#1 Hi and welcome to Quakeworld.nu, can you tell a bit about yourself in IRL?
Hey, thanks a lot!! My name is Dan and I just turned 22..
Well outside of the Quaking arena (which I have been absent from for sometime, only really getting back into it lately very casually) I live with my girlfriend here in Melbourne, Australia. I work 40 hour weeks every week to pursue my number 1 passion in life which is drumming. It's quite an expensive art but well worth it in my opinion!! I play in 2 bands currently, Ne Obliviscaris and helping out some friends in Aphotic Dawn. Drums and music have pretty much dominated my life over the last 4 years or so. #2 Whats your QW (hi)story?
I started around 97 when I used to go over to my friends house to play on his pc. His brother showed me QW and it went from there... I didn't get my own pc and connection until 98 though. I really didn't start to focus in QW until '01 when I started to duel a lot. These days I'm more into the TDM, I find it a lot more fun and I don't have to stay as sharp to get some frags!

#3 What does TC stand for and who came up with the name of the clan?
TC? Where did you hear about that!?

#4 The European QW scene is growing this summer with lots of new people coming in from other games, what is happening in the au-scene and what are you doing(should be doing) to get more players to QW?
Hmm well from my short stint back in the Aus scene there seems to be no competition games and more just random duels and tdm. Most nights there are tdm games. I have def. noticed some new faces since playing again. I can't say I'm actively trying to get people into the game at the moment... I think the scene is kind of cool how it is now, everyone knows everyone. You can't even use a fake name really because people will pick you out no matter what! It's good!

#5 Have you tried nquake and the latest ezQuake?
I have never tried ez or nquake. I wouldn't know sorry.

#6 What do you think about ezTV?
Again I'm not even sure what this is

#7 Qhlan11 is coming, will you be able to come and show someaustralian-kickass-skillz?
That would be awesome to come over to Europe and play some Quake and hang out, unfortunately my schedule is too full on at the moment so I wouldn't be able to, although when my band comes through Euro I would love to play over there for sure.

#8 Give me your top5 in 1on1.aus and 1on1.world.
Hmm top 5. Well I'm not sure whose who these days but I played Ven the other day and he kicked my arse! It took a real struggle to take games back off of him so he would be up there. I guess the other usual Au suspects would be lurking around too. Top 5 world? I really wouldn't know. Reppie is the only guy I have ever really watched, props to him. Good player with a good attitude (What's up dude!?)

#9 What map is your weakest in 1on1 and why?
I'd say DM4 because I have never really enjoyed it, it is the least fun map for me.

Really not sure!!

#11 Inferno just released his second movie, when will we see your second movie?
I have plenty of frags sitting in my demo folders. There were quite a few 'technical' frags which I felt missed out on making Mortuality. I think they were the type of frag that only a QW player could really understand and take in. I can't say I have plans for a second movie but I wouldn't rite it off. I do have a folder in my QW dir called 'M2' after all

#12 What player/clan is the most disturbing to play against, and who does the most whining?
The most disturbing to play against? Ego. He is the biggest whiner too, the amount of crap one man can talk...

#13 We are running several tourneys in Europe like KTK (king of tuesday kenya) / FTK (Free Thursday Kenya) / Ignition (1on1 rookie tourney) / Summerjam (intensive 1on1 tourney) / EQL (4on4 league) / NQR (4on4 league) / NNQL (2on2 league) / dmm4 tour (dmm4 tourney) etc.. which one of theese sections would you like to start up in Australia, and why?
A 2on2 league for sure. It would be the easiest to organize, have the most teams and probably be the most fun!
