Does anybody know how to set 1000Hz for g3 or g5 mice?
OS WinXP sp2
After using usb switcher I have 1000Hz in the system but seems that sepoint drivers do 500Hz direct to mouse.
Is there any way to cheat that it works with 1000hz?

i had mine at 1000hz until i rebooted. using all methods I could think of they all appear to be 1000hz but as you say setpoint limits to 500hz so the other programs and hacks are overridden all the time or something.
Would be nice to have 1000hz like I thought I did

I did _a lot of searching_ concerning this, because when I still used my razer copperhead, it was pissing me off that my g5 was "only" 500hz :/ Well, what I found was that atleast g5, which I have is limited to 500 max by the firmware. This can also be verified by uninstalling all setpoint + other logitech shit (which I did ofcourse couple of times
So from what I know, it simply cannot be done unless someone hacks the firmware in the mouse :/

The latest setpoint software allows you to set it at 1000hz for the G5.
Under game settings/advanced
