Never any problem until I switched to this port. Always says the rcon pw is wrong but I confirm it is correct when physically at the server console. I generally can read the documentation but the doc page for this server tells me nothing.

it has something to do with the password being encrypted, I think you need to turn that shit off.... sv_crypt_rcon

Yes, server may use encryption, so encryption must be turned on at client(cl_crypt_cron) and server(sv_crypt_rcon) or both off.
