I could have sworn I used to be able to connect to the #Quakeworld channel on IRC, because I always would check it out while I was chatting in #promode in my CPMA days. I can't seem to join anymore, its been forever since I've used IRC so I may just have some of my settings wrong, but I can get in #american, #cpm.masterscup and #promode just fine.

Any ideas?

you need to have +r (registrated with the Q bot) but #qwhelp is not a bad channel!

why is that anyway?

#Quakeworld is a stupid channel. Once you put the serve-me bot on ignore nothing happens there. Really.

You have to auth because we used to get alot of spam bots on the channel, and they can't hold an quakenet account for 5mins


And who is to blame for that?

You have to be registrated
