But nothing surprised me more then Kubica's crash. I still dont belive he is alright. It was amazing.

Black flag for running a red light is way too severe penalty. And so is the stop & go for pitting to closed pit. They should really copy certain american series' on these

Alonso is in trouble, he is making rookie mistakes while the rookie teammate is almost flawless. :/ He needs to just hang on for now, and hope that the car will suit him better later in the season.

The black flag was absolutely the only thing they could've given them, in fact, I think they also should be penalized for the upcoming races, maybe trim their best qualification times by 0.5 sec. Running past a red light is one of the things you wouldn't expect a professional F1 driver to do. I know they focus on competition, and obviously they are more stressed in SC situations (with those weird rules about opening/closing pitlane), but I do not think it was too severe.

To be perfectly honest, on the other hand, I think I started to dislike Alonso from this race. I had some doubts about him in the previous season (regarding his character), but this race just showed how much frustration lies within his puny person, I pity him for having to be the idiot of the race

Regarding Kubica's crash, I haven't seen such a severe crash in ages in F1, the only thing that comes to my mind was the crash of Takuma Sato with Nick Heidfeld in Austria, from the recent crashes, then I also doubted he would be alive. Many people compare his crash to Senna's from 1994, but that's just wrong, to be honest it looks a lot more like Ratzenberger's crash, compare them two if you are interested.

Regarding the penalty, it's absolutely right. If you enter the pitlane in a redlight you must be punished but you haven't put anybody life in danger, but comming out of the pitlane in a redlight can couse some severe accidents since other drivers assume nobody can get back to the race at that moment. Black Flag was right.

Drivers are always warned of cars exiting pitlane (although in Canada they can just see for themselves). And with the SC out they are supposed to drive with caution anyway. There are really dangerous things you can do, like ignoring yellow flags, that rarely get you a DQ. Arriving at high speed to yellow flag area and crashing should be worth race ban IMO (Alonso and Schumi in brazil... among many others...) But anyway, F1 wouldn't be the same without rules that defy logic

rofl so far we haven't really seen Hamilton in action, I mean, this all derives from his excellent qualification times, we all know Senna was the Quali God, but I wouldn't dare to compare any driver to Senna, let alone Hamilton, who I think is just a puppet, I think he's way too humble

I don't think he is the next Senna. Senna was Senna and that is it.

Hamilton is Hamilton and is/will be a great driver.

btw took schumacher 15years to break a record that Senna stabilished on 10 (64 poles). Let's see what this boy can do. =)

I think Hamilton will win at least 3 world championships in his career. Both Raikkonen and Alonso are driving like n00bs at the moment.
