Few days ago a freelance reporter for finnish pc-gaming magazine called PC-Gamer came to me and asked for some old qw dude to make interview about for their magazine..a interview with tvs mirage will be printed to magazine in few weeks...
but it doesnt stop to there..
he offered a chance to hold a some form of qw tourney/tournaments @ internetcafe Level7 (http://www.cafelevel7.fi/) which is located at helsinki, finland.
I dont know much of the place itself but i think its pretty new and not a small one either..they have been running 1-2 cups for cs/q4 and more are to come..like cod2 for examble..
so basicly...if we want to do a qw tourney there its up to us..owner of the place said something about 30players minium..and costs could be covered with small entry fee for participants something like 10e..possibly like get some prizes aswell..
getting a 4on4 tournament there might be hard to do...but maybe a duel tourney instead or 2on2..i dont know..
im only acting as a messenger here so dont just shoot me yet...just give some feedback and lets see what happens...
somehow i find it hard to get ppl excited about this...even you wouldnt have to bring your whole computer with you, only keyboard and mouse if you dont want to use gear that the house provides..but then again prove me wrong people..
and im guessing that i dont have to remind you what kind of attention this could bring to the game itself...would be nice chance to get more players to the game...as the freelancer dude said he would do a story about the event itself too.
and ye time frame for this to happen was *somewhere during the spring"[/url]
