Instagib has made its apperance in KTX svn code, and model and textures of the new COILGUN are done Thx to Orion and PrimeviL for their work again (go fr!) For those wondering, the coilgun is the qw version of the rail (the rail porting didn't look qwish enough to me) For more info on coilguns, head here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CoilgunBut! Before releasing the pak file, I need a decent sound. Anybody willing to help can find me on #ktx on Quakenet or post here. Sound should be kinda soft, non explosive, and fit the idea of a long metal piece going at high speed through a long tube with a wide opening...

I guess we can remove the muzzle flash indeed And the sound is great, I think I'm going to add a bit of depth to it to make it more qwish but it is a great base to work on, thx

Of course, tried them (quickly tbh) and they all sound short to me and some like 2/3 are not the kind I want but I might either use them in a longer sample or something Thanks again the-interceptor

I think I will certainly use this model to replace the TF railgun. Good job, it looks like it 'belongs' in Quake. Help me understand the little that I know.
