hypothetically speaking, would you participate in a DM6 ONLY DUEL TOURNAMENT?

if it starts, it would be sometime late july/early august, and would have a format similar to the current ZTNDM3 tournament

(to those who wonder, there has already been a DM4-only and AEROWALK-only tournament, but never a DM6 only tourny that i know...)

(obviously i don't care so much about the "no" votes, I only care about how many people would liek to participate. but one-option polls are zzz hehe)

There are a lot of people on vacancy and will not be able to play

It's as good time as any. People who are willing to play in some tournament are able to. If one is on vacation then he is. Summertime tournaments help keeping the scene a bit more alive during summers even if the participation is less than other times.

I'd rather not have so many participants for one-map tourney. IMHO, the number of participants in ZTNDM3 was slightly too much. Most people get tired of the same map played official too many times, but on the other hand people want to know who is the best on map X, so the fine line in the middle has to be reached with enough good participants but not too many

oh you just have to make tourneys of the two shittiest map from the five-map-pool. i cant say i remember any dm4 tourneys but i do remember the aerowalk tournament which ended up very early to inactivity. please, more tournaments with the good maps and less with the rest

bla bla. Imo ztndm3 showed it's a really good map... well atleast to me it did.
I always enjoyed playing, but didnt really have a clue how it was played at div0-1 skill, but imo ive seen quite a few great games so far.

Imo dm4 which was one of my favourite maps years ago in my previous short qw career. Favourite to play and watch, but i've absolutely lost my love for that map. Least interesting imo of the 5.
I still play it if my opponent wants it, coz i dont like mapwhiners (I ONLY PLAY AEROWALK..zzzzz)

I think in a one map only tournament that rounds should be played with diff. rules.

like best of 5.

1 dmm1 timelimit 5, number of times taking a certain item (LG on dm6)
2 dmm3 fraglimit 11, (something suitable for the map in question)
3 dmm4 (no items on map) timelimit 5
4 dmm3 timelimit 10 (~duelmania)
5 dmm4 (no items on map) fraglimit 1.

i was thinking of doing a TB5 tournament (2,4,6,a,z) but it would have 5 brackets and 5 winners for each map. maybe some distant time in the future...

looks like there is some interest in a DM6 only tourney.... so I will start it a week or two after ztndm3 tourney is done, which right now looks like it will be late july/early august as I predicted

I would like to see fraglimit + timelimit.
Would be interesting to see tactics for rushing/defending/timing.
ofc this could turn on camping games, which are unsuitable for some maps(dm2). but could be ok for dm6, dm4 i dunno (mega-rl hiding?)..

edit: duel in clanarena can be an alternative. both spawn 200/200, no items, limited ammo, one-must-fall. then starts again, for 9 rounds. winner wins loser loses. duh
