I think logitech is best. Whatever you buy from this brand.

Lachesis is horrible. Id say most people seem to be very satisfied with logi mx500/510/518 and Razer Death Adder. Whatever you do, go for IR and not laser at least.

Hey,
Imo you should buy Logitech MX518! It's cheap and it's a great mouse, with all the essentials you need, yet lacking all these bull-shit feats (weight etc.) which you dont need.
1800 DPI + 500Hz is more than enough imo.

Rikoll 500 can't be bought new anymore, and 510 was less than satisfactory
