Please help!
I currently have a logi G15 KB and a G9 mouse which I really like. I want to buy another set for use at work but I don't want to / can't go through all the bs with the drivers + software.
Can anyone recommend an alternative? Do the razer mice actually plug & play? Are their KBs any good? Can M$ actually make hardware now?
Cheers

Most HID don't need extra drivers nowadays. You might miss some specific features of course, but, e.g. those "basic multimedia keys" to control volume etc. are kind of a quasi standard that will do without installing anything. The
Logitech LS1 (mouse) as an example is being advertised as "Plug-and-play USB: So there's no need to install software. Just plug in the mouse to get started." Maybe that is something for you? I'm sure that you'll also find a decent keyboard for everyday work. (I'm using the HP OEM shit that was shipped along with the PC.) :p

Sorry, I forgot to mention, I use vista x64. Neither would work without drivers - I know they *should* just work - but they didn't. The only way I could make them work was by reinstalling vista with them already plugged in. It was daft.

I got a razer salmosa some weeks ago, and it works without drivers at 500 or 1000hz. Its also cheaper than most gaming mice
