Independently of cl_maxfps, my maximum amount of fps is 60.
I got no idea why :/

Either vid_vsync is set to 1 instead of 0, or you have vertical synchronisation forced to "on" in your graphics card drivers. It's probably vid_vsync.

No one should be forced to play on that kind of framerate like some kind of peasant CS player.

I also have vid_vsync=0 since i get more fps, but i also note, when i turn around, a slim strip line, horizontal in my tft screen, the lower the resolution the most noticiable. sucks, is better than play with vsync on, but sucks :E

time! That's called "tearing" and occurs when your framerate is too low. Try raising cl_maxfps to some multiple of 77 (a popular choice is 308).
